barNOcle Antifouling
The barNOcle system is a state-of-the-art antifouling solution designed to protect your vessel in salty or brackish water environments. At the heart of the barNOcle system is a combination of titanium anodes and a sophisticated electronic controller. The titanium anodes are covered in a proprietary oxide formula that creates a protective field around your vessel. The electronic controller ensures that this field is maintained at the optimal level to prevent the buildup of barnacles on your hull.
This advanced technology has been designed with the boat owner in mind. The barNOcle system is easy to install, needs no through-hull drilling, and requires very little maintenance, making it a convenient and cost-effective solution. Its durability ensures that you will not have to replace the anodes every season, saving you time and money while ensuring your boat remains in top condition for years.
To establish the protective field of the barNOcle system, the anodes need to be placed slightly below the water's surface, usually at a depth that aligns with the center of the prop(s). The protective field is created between the anodes, and the number required will depend on your hull's configuration. Typically, 4 to 8 anodes are enough to protect your boat from unwanted growth.
When ready to navigate, lift and store the anodes in their covers. No need to turn off and on the controller - it automatically reactivates upon submerging. Optionally, mount the anodes permanently on your dock powered by shore mains.
Benefits Of barNOcle
Reduced Costs: Lower your fuel bills and keep fouling off your boat without the need for dry-stacking, dockside boatlift, or a drive-on floating dock.
Easy Installation: Our system can be DIY installation, can be installed while the boat is in the water, Self-adjustable system – no adjustment required despite a change in water conditions. The simplicity of the system.
• Flexibility: can be installed on different types and formats of boats.
• Temporary (on the boat) or permanent (on the dock) installation.
Increased Leisure Time: No cleaning of hard-to-reach areas, extended maintenance intervals, less downtime, and reduced running costs.
Reduced Maintenance: Clean propellers will prevent additional vibration and reduce unnecessary drivetrain wear.
Increased Performance: Keeping hard fouling off your hull and propellers will minimize hydrodynamic drag, keeping your fuel consumption down and your boat speeds up.
The system does not remove the requirement for boat maintenance and the system has a return-to-base warranty. Existing antifoul or bottom paint applied will deteriorate over time and repainting may still be required.
